Job summary

Weston & Sampson seeks a Hydrologic & Hydraulic Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience in our Water Discipline, based in New England offices. The role focuses on hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and design for flood mitigation, climate resilience, and coastal/riverine infrastructure.

Responsibilities include directing client communications, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting business development, with mentorship of junior staff. Salary ranges from $95,000 to $122,000 annually.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.
• MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years in transportation or hydrology project management.
• 2+ years managing hydrology-related projects.
• Strong hydrology, hydraulics, and infrastructure knowledge.
• CFM certification preferred and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct client communications on technical design, schedule, budget, and scope.
• Lead and coordinate project teams across design disciplines.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and pursue opportunities.
• Support business development, including marketing, proposals, and outreach.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior engineers and designers.
• Lead design and delivery of hydro/transport projects including studies and final design.
• Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic modeling for urban/rural infrastructure projects.
