Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. is seeking a Hydrologic & Hydraulic Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience in our Water Discipline, based in our New England offices.

The role focuses on hydrologic/hydraulic modeling for stream restoration, dam rehabilitation, flood mitigation, and climate resilience projects across complex environments. You will direct client communications, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• MS in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in transportation or hydrology project management.
• Strong hydrology & hydraulics knowledge for infrastructure systems.
• Experience with floodplain analysis, stormwater design, and project permitting in the Northeast.

Responsibilities

• Direct client communications on technical design, schedule, budget, and scope.
• Lead and coordinate project teams across design disciplines.
• Support business development and client outreach.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior engineers and designers.
• Lead project teams in design and delivery of transportation or hydrology projects.
