Qualifications

• 0–2 years of hydrographic survey experience.
• High school diploma or GED with hydrography training.
• Must be self-motivated, responsible and reliable.
• Ability to make objective and rational decisions.
• Good documentation skills and strong work ethic.
• Boat experience, trailering, launching, recovery, knowledge of tides/currents.
• Must be computer literate; CAD experience helpful.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to travel 50–70%, weekends/holidays; lift 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute hydrographic surveys including data collection and mapping.
• Make decisions on safety and quality; provide client recommendations.
• Review data, perform quality checks, and process data.
• Coordinate equipment installation and calibration.
