Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist for remote work in the US. The role focuses on commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of hydrogen infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment across customer sites with up to full travel.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical/industrial maintenance, an associates degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication skills. Safety-conscious and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in construction, repair, or maintenance in electrical/industrial/mechanical fields.
• Associates or vocational degree preferred; or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to travel up to 100% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test and commission Plug Power products and hydrogen infrastructure.
• Lead high level service repair projects including liquid tank and vacuum jacket repairs.
• Provide training to first responders, customers and service personnel on hydrogen systems.
• Support commissioning and ongoing maintenance of industrial hydrogen infrastructure; read wiring schematics and P&IDs.
• Document testing results, create/track task lists, and ensure safety at all times.
