Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist to work at customer sites across the United States, including travel up to 100%. The role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of hydrogen storage infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment.

This heavy travel position requires excellent mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial hydrogen systems, with on-call responsiveness to keep hydrogen production running around the

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction, repair, or maintenance in electrical, industrial, or mechanical field.
• Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering, electronics, pressurized systems or other applicable field preferred; or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to travel up to 100% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, and commission Plug Power products.
• Lead high-level service repair projects on hydrogen infrastructure, including tank and vacuum line repairs.
• Provide training to first responders, customers, and staff on troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Document results from system testing and commissioning after each project.
• Create, track, and close out project task lists.
• Read drawings and P&IDs; interpret electrical schematics.
