Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist to perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of hydrogen storage, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment at customer sites. This is a high travel role (up to 100%) requiring strong mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial hydrogen systems.

You will lead service repair projects, provide training, and support ongoing operation of hydrogen infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in construction, repair, or maintenance in an electrical, industrial, or mechanical field.
• Ability to travel as needed to carry out duties of the position - up to 100%.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software for reporting and email correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of Plug Power products.
• Lead high level service repair projects on hydrogen infrastructure and perform specialized service procedures.
• Provide training to first responders, customers, and other Plug service personnel.
• Support commissioning and ongoing maintenance and operation of industrial hydrogen infrastructure.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and construction drawings.
• Create, track, and close out project task lists; document system test results.
