Plug Power seeks a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist to perform commissioning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydrogen storage infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment at customer sites.

This role requires up to 100% travel, on-call responsiveness, and strong communication across cross-functional teams to improve system designs and resolve defects based on field data.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in construction, repair, or maintenance in electrical, industrial, or mechanical fields.
• Associates or vocational degree preferred; or 2 extra years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, and commission Plug Power products including hydrogen infrastructure and electrolyzers.
• Lead high-level service repair projects on hydrogen infrastructure with specialized procedures.
• Provide training to first responders, customers, and Plug service personnel.
• Interpret electrical wiring schematics and P&IDs; conduct Point-to-Point testing; perform pressure tests per ASME standards.
• Document results and create/close out project task lists.
• Maintain safety focus and educate others on safe operation of hydrogen equipment.
