Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Service Specialist - H2 to provide after-market service and support for GenFuel hydrogen utility infrastructure at customer sites. The role requires strong electro-mechanical skills, field training duties, and a professional customer-facing presence.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, remote diagnostics, and supervision of technicians, with a focus on high-pressure hydrogen storage and fueling systems. Travel up to 100% is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering or related field; 3+ years experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Travel up to 100% as needed to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveys of hydrogen infrastructure at customer sites.
• Maintain and service H2 systems at customer sites.
• Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to guide support staff.
• Train and supervise personnel on troubleshooting and maintenance of hydrogen infrastructure.
• Provide customer training on H2 systems.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in the field.
