Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Three years of journey-level experience in operation, installation, repair, or maintenance of mechanical or electrical equipment similar to hydroelectric plants.
• Valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts 24/7 and outdoors; ability to wear respiratory protection if required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, overhaul, and adjust mechanical and electrical equipment used in hydroelectric power generation and water storage and conveyance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facilities; maintain sites in safe, clean condition.
• Read drawings/plans/specifications; develop maintenance plans using CMMS; create and update work orders.
• Operate generators, switches, SCADA consoles, cranes, forklifts, and service trucks; supervise or direct others as needed.
