SAN LUIS & DELTA-MENDOTA WATER AUTHORITY in Tracy is recruiting a HydroElectric Plant Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair hydroelectric generating and pumping plant equipment under the supervision of the Plant Mechanic Foreman. Beginning salary is $117,726.74 per year, commensurate with experience, with benefits including paid holidays, retirement plans, and comprehensive health options.

Applicants should have completed a mechanical apprenticeship and at least three years as a journeyman

Formación

• Completion of a mechanical apprenticeship program.
• Three years of varied experience as a journeyman machinist or plant mechanic.
• Experience maintaining and repairing hydroelectric generating or pumping plant equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform skilled mechanical maintenance and repair on hydroelectric plant equipment.
• Operate lifting and rigging equipment and assist with overhaul of turbines, generators, pumps, and related systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, or diagrams to guide work.
