Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking maintenance personnel to independently operate and monitor a hydroelectric plant, with responsibilities including startup/shutdown actions, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting from diagrams and manuals. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a four-year trade school with at least one year of related industrial experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a four year trade school
• At least one year of experience in electrical, mechanical, operational and/or instrumentation at an industrial facility
• Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a four year trade school

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the plant, initiating startup or shutdown as appropriate
• Perform outage and routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot systems with blueprints, diagrams and manuals
• Operate trucks and forklifts and perform rigging operations safely
• Conduct preventative maintenance and basic metal work, carpentry and repair tasks at a remote site
• Collect operational data and produce routine reports
• Follow all applicable policies and procedures
