Qualifications

• Previous hydroelectric power-generation construction, maintenance, overhaul, or major-project experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner’s construction interests during project execution.
• Provide day-to-day field construction management and oversight of EPC contractors, specialty contractors, and subcontractors.
• Provide oversight of hydro turbine and generator work, including removal, disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, repair, installation, alignment, reassembly, and testing activities.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, approved work plans, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate construction interfaces between the contractor, project management, engineering, operations, safety, quality, commissioning, and other stakeholders.
• Review upcoming work for constructability, sequencing, access, lifting, logistics, safety, quality, operational impacts, and outage constraints.
