Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support hydro power operations, including generation, water flow and maintenance activities. You will own projects, troubleshoot in the field, and deliver engineering solutions with construction-ready drawings.

The role emphasizes CAD/3D modeling, root-cause analysis, vendor coordination and on-site supervision to ensure safe, timely project delivery across facilities. Travel ~30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/related field with a minimum of 2-5 years mechanical engineering experience.
• Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering/related field with a minimum of 5 to 7 years mechanical engineering experience
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years mechanical engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Investigate operating issues at our facilities and troubleshoot to root-cause
• Manage project implementation and complete projects on-time and on-budget
• Direct company technical personnel and contractor resources to execute projects
• Obtaining competitive quotes from multiple contractors to create a check and balance of all project work internal and external
• Design mechanical solutions to respond to operating issues and for asset enhancement
• Create drawings for designs and manage fabricator and vendor relationships
• Take part in creating new technologies that can be leveraged across our portfolio
• Travel as required for project supervision and execution (~30%)
