Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks Hydroblaster/Field Technicians to safely execute jobs across services at customer sites. You will lead daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and maintain equipment and documentation.

The role requires hands-on hydro-blasting, operation of high-pressure pumps, and coordination with customer representatives. We value safety, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a leading environmental services

Qualifications

• Safety training and on-the-job training are required.
• Must understand English to comprehend safety training and emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license required across driving policy.
• Provide TWIC credential as part of job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for safety policies and procedures for company and customer.
• Hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment as needed.
• Operate special equipment such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping equipment and specialized hydro-blasting/chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
• Examine surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Supervisory interface with customer representatives to ensure scope and performance meet expectations.
