Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks Hydroblaster/Field Technicians to safely execute industrial cleaning projects at customer sites. You will lead crews, ensure equipment readiness, and coordinate daily operations while maintaining safety standards.

Team members must have safety training, a valid driver’s license, and TWIC, with the ability to work long hours in challenging environments and extreme conditions. Join a safety-first company committed to quality service.

Qualifications

• Classroom safety training and on-the-job training is required.
• Understanding English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
• Provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.

Responsibilities

• Safety representative responsible for policies and procedures for company and customer, including operations and safety.
• Hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operate special equipment such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping and hydro-blasting/chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment.
• Examine surface cleaning for conformance to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• SuperviseInterface with customer reps on job setup, ensure requirements are met, and report to branch manager.
