Qualifications

• TWIC card required.
• Basic knowledge of hydro blasting equipment and hazards.
• NCCER certifications may be required at some sites.
• Pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol test and physical.
• Site safety requirements as required by the client.
• Safety equipment as required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Direct blasts of abrasive-laden air or water to remove contaminants and impart an even finish.
• Adjust pressure and grit; wear PPE to protect eyes and hands.
• Follow procedures; work is checked frequently by supervisor.
• Move materials and assist as needed; perform assignments per supervisor's direction.
