Job summary

Southern Company in Alabama is seeking a Project Manager – APC Hydro to lead hydro capital projects across multiple plants. You will manage scope, budget, and the implementation plan while coordinating engineering, procurement, installation, start-up, and project controls.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of PM experience, and the ability to lead external resources. Travel to sites is frequent and location is Logan Martin Dam, Lay Dam, or APC Corporate HQ.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in project management for engineering, procurement, construction and/or startup.
• Ability to manage outside contractor resources and lead teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Oversee scope, budget, and schedule for hydro capital projects.
