Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC is seeking a Power Plant Operator to support the hydro‑electric facility and water intakes, ensuring reliable, efficient operation. Safety and regulatory compliance are paramount.

Duties include daily inspections, starting/stopping units, safety monitoring, logs, operating tools and equipment, preventive maintenance, rotating weekends/holidays, coordinating contractors, and participating in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of related experience in power plant or industrial setting preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems, PLC troubleshooting, and calibration preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily plant and intake inspections.
• Start and stop generating units per established procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and monitor logs and reports.
• Operate heavy equipment and tools including chain saws.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for plant reliability.
• Work on a rotating schedule covering weekends and holidays.
• Assist in developing plant safety procedures and JSAs.
• Respond to emergent plant issues and communicate downtime.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors performing activities.
• Participate in company safety programs.
