Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy is seeking a Maintenance Operator to support the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric powerhouse equipment. You will perform mechanical and hydraulic tasks, assist contractors, and ensure safe, efficient plant operation in accordance with procedures and industry practices.

The role requires experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems, basic welding, and the ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic industrial equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and piping systems.
• Ability to perform basic layout and measurements.
• Comfortable lifting and rigging with proper safety.
• Experience with LO/TO procedures and plant safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform operation duties of powerhouse and dam as per operating orders.
• Place equipment in service and release for maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot and repair low-to-mid voltage electrical systems using test instruments.
• Conduct inspection tours of powerhouse and dam gauges; maintain records.
• Instruct and train employees in operations and safety.
• Identify causes of abnormal conditions and take corrective actions.
• Repair mechanical equipment and assist with electrical repairs.
• Maintain shift records and use company email.
• Assist with development of new LOTO procedures.
