Job summary

Evolution Motion Solutions in Texas is seeking a Hydraulics Project Engineer to lead multiple projects of hydraulic power units, manifolds and systems from concept to delivery. You will perform engineering calculations, select components, create CAD models and drawings, and coordinate with Sales, Purchasing and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Five to ten years’ engineering experience, preferably in hydraulic systems.
• Experience with hydraulic components selection and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple hydraulic projects from concept through delivery.
• Define project requirements, develop specifications and perform calculations.
• Select and configure commercial components meeting specifications.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings of parts, assemblies, and schematics.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes.
• Use ERP to enter Sales Orders and manage Work Orders.
• Support shop with troubleshooting manufacturing and testing issues.
• Quality review and sign-off on completed jobs.
