FLUID SYSTEM COMPONENTS INC is seeking a Lead Industrial Hydraulics Engineer to plan, lead, and deliver large-scale hydraulic projects. You will serve as a technical expert and project leader across departments, ensuring design quality, performance, and innovation throughout system development.

The role demands collaboration with customers and sales teams, strong problem solving, and the ability to drive proposals, define system architectures, and manage field service and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Power advantageous).
• 5+ years of experience in hydraulic systems engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and hydraulic modeling tools.
• Familiarity with UL, CE, ISO and safety standards.
• Track record delivering high-performance hydraulic systems.
• Ability to manage a facility safely and cost-effectively.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical evaluations during pre-sales and project scoping.
• Define hydraulic system architecture based on performance requirements.
• Drive technical proposals ensuring feasibility and cost alignment.
• Interface with customers and sales to clarify specifications.
• Identify risks early in the application phase and mitigate.
• Set and enforce engineering standards and review protocols.
• Guide design decisions across projects and teams.
• Lead complex design reviews with cross-disciplinary feedback.
• Ensure designs comply with safety codes and QA processes.
• Evaluate prototypes and test results for iterations.
• Oversee commissioning plans, field tests, and validation documentation.
• Lead resolution of escalated field issues.
• Analyze failure data and implement corrective actions.
• Support post-installation reviews and customer feedback.
• Align milestones with project schedules and priorities.
• Track KPIs and resources; lead project reporting to leadership.
