Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Duncan, South Carolina, is seeking an Assembly Worker to join their team. The role requires hands-on assembly and troubleshooting of equipment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble assembly parts.
  • Use tools and equipment required for assembly operations in an industrial setting.
  • Team player; demonstrate good listening and communication skills.
  • Assist in daily 5S and cleaning procedures.
  • Help others find solutions to quality and production issues.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
  • Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
  • Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
  • Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, or crane as required.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.

Shift & Pay

Hourly rate: $18.50+ per hour. The actual rate may vary based on training, transferable skills, experience, education, business needs, market demands, and location.

Physical Demands

Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Environment

Indoor manufacturing environment with production machinery, overhead cranes, and forklift traffic. Personal protective equipment is required.

Use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information, and documents; analyze and solve problems; apply math and reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn new information or skills; interact with employees, customers, and vendors.
