Job summary

How you will make a difference

You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, using tools and equipment in an industrial setting, and working as a team player with strong listening and communication skills.

What we offer

Qualifications

Typical Day

  • Assist in daily 5S and cleaning procedures.
  • Assist others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.
  • Help assemble and test according to engineering drawings and test codes.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
  • Maintain assembly and test equipment.
  • Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, or crane as required.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, talking; hand use and reaching; occasional climbing or balancing; must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjust focus are required.

Environment

Indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to production machinery, assembly operations, overhead crane usage, forklift traffic. Personal protective equipment required.

Mental Demands

Use of written and oral communication skills; read, interpret, analyze, and solve problems; use math and reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information. Interacts with other employees, customers, and vendors.
