Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking an entry-level Hydraulic Technician to assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems and equipment at our Bellingham, WA location and in Alaska.

You will work with senior technicians, assess customer needs, and perform preventive maintenance while following safety procedures. The role involves travel to Alaska divisions to support hydraulic efforts, and requires a HS diploma or technical training with 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Technical School certificate.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior technicians.
• Work with customers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
• Understand hydraulic system basics (fittings, pumps, valves, cylinders).
• Inspects hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear.
• Replace hydraulic hose fittings and make new hoses with fittings based on customer needs.
• Use of both technical and troubleshooting skills to determine solution to customer needs.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Travel to LFS divisions in Alaska to support hydraulic efforts in those divisions.

Summary:
