Job summary

LFS, Inc., a subsidiary of Trident Seafoods, is seeking a warehouse associate in Alaska to support daily operations including stocking, staging, packing and picking products. The role requires accuracy and speed in a high-activity environment with a strong attention to detail.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with housing or a housing allowance. Forklift certification and EPICOR experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and familiarity with mobile scanning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
• Forklift certified
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior EPICOR experience
• Prior experience with mobile scanning device

Responsibilities

Job Summary:LFS is looking for a warehouse associatetosupportdaily operations, including stocking, staging, packing, and pickingproduct. Committed to maintaining accuracy, reducing errors, and contributing to smooth warehouse flow.

Essential Functions:

• Move products around the warehouse, labeling and stocking items
• Physical, face paced environment
• Complete tasks accurately and quickly
• Very strong attention to detail
• Uses computer and bar codes reader to scan materials
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
• Forklift certified/or can be trained to be certified

Additional Responsibilities:

• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
• Represent LFS by using our core values to guide your behavior and business decisions.

This is a full time, 40 hour per week, year round postion. This position does come with housing or a housing allowance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred education and experience

• Forklift certified
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior experience working with EPICOR.
• Prior experience with mobile scanning device.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk to hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move objects 50 lbs.
