Job summary

Trident Seafoods seeks a Warehouse Associate in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, to support daily operations including stocking, staging, packing and picking. You will help maintain accuracy and contribute to smooth warehouse flow in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time, year-round with housing or housing allowance. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is required; EPICOR experience and mobile scanning knowledge are preferred.

While our core business remains supporting the commercial fishing industry, we have expanded our offerings to include industrial and sport netting, hydraulic sales and services, wholesale and industrial supply, recreational marine and outdoor products, as well as online sales.

Responsibilities

LFS is looking for a warehouse associate to support daily operations, including stocking, staging, packing, and picking product. Committed to maintaining accuracy, reducing errors, and contributing to smooth warehouse flow.

Essential Functions

• Move products around the warehouse, labeling and stocking items
• Physical, face paced environment
• Complete tasks accurately and quickly
• Very strong attention to detail
• Uses computer and bar codes reader to scan materials
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
• Forklift certified/or can be trained to be certified

• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
• Represent LFS by using our core values to guide your behavior and business decisions.

This is a full time, 40 hour per week, year round postion. This position does come with housing or a housing allowance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education And Experience

• Forklift certified
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior experience working with EPICOR.
• Prior experience with mobile scanning device.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk to hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move objects 50 lbs.
