Job summary

Superior Industries in Prescott Valley, AZ, seeks a Hydraulic Designer II to shape hydraulic systems from concept to execution. You will create schematics, layouts, and BOMs, while collaborating with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure proper integration and performance.

The role emphasizes design analysis, component selection, and continuous improvement, with growth through in-house AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, and Vault Professional training.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical education and/or experience in Fluid Power.
• Minimum 2 years designing hydraulic systems.
• IFPS Hydraulic Specialist Certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic relationships, mechanical power relationships, and electrical relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create hydraulic schematics, drawings, and system layouts.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) for hydraulic components.
• Design hydraulic systems per project requirements and specifications.
• Select and evaluate pumps, valves, actuators, fittings; implement design improvements.
• Work with engineers and manufacturing teams for accurate system integration.
• Provide service and sales support related to hydraulic system design.
