Job summary

Superior Industries in Morris, MN is seeking a Hydraulic Designer II to shape hydraulic systems from concept to execution. You will create schematics and layouts, develop BOMs, and perform technical analysis in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes design quality, safety, and troubleshooting, with in-house training on AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, and Vault Professional. Competitive pay and benefits support work-life balance.

Qualifications

2 year technical education or equivalent in Fluid Power.
Minimum 2 years of experience designing hydraulic systems.
IFPS Hydraulic Specialist Certification preferred.
Understand hydraulic relationships (pressure, flow, efficiency, power) and electrical relationships (voltage, current, power, AC/DC).

Responsibilities

Create hydraulic schematics, drawings, and system layouts.
Develop BOMs for hydraulic components.
Perform design-based technical analysis and component evaluation.
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing for proper integration.
Provide service and sales support related to hydraulic design and functionality.
Ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations and troubleshoot issues.
