Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design hydraulic structures related to flood control and water projects.
• Lead project teams of structural engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare project proposals including scopes, budgets and schedules.
• Forecast workload and schedules.
• Prepare contract documents; direct the work of others or as an individual contributor.
• Perform engineering services during construction and review submittals.
• Conduct inspections and prepare reports on existing structures.
• Present technical information to project teams, clients, and review boards.
• Conduct risk analyses for hydraulic structures and document findings.
• Manage tasks on large projects or several medium projects.
• Review work for quality and compliance with codes and standards.
• Monitor budgets and schedules; participate in business development.
