You will lead design of hydraulic structures, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to business development and technical excellence. A PE license and 10 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design hydraulic structures for flood control and water projects.
• Lead project teams of structural engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare proposals with scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Forecast workload and schedules.
• Prepare contract documents including drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Perform engineering services during construction and review submittals.
• Conduct inspections and prepare reports on existing structures.
• Present technical findings to project teams, clients, and review boards.
• Conduct risk analyses for hydraulic structures and document outcomes.
• Manage budgets and schedules on large projects.
• Mentor junior staff.
