Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Press Operator for the Lincolnway location on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–1:00am). The role monitors press equipment, maintains quality, and supports color changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of manufacturing experience, with strong communication and safe working habits. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards.
• Identifies minor mechanical problems and makes adjustments as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning of equipment for color changes.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safety practices.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

This is a 2nd shift position working Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 1:00am at the Lincolnway Location. The hourly rate of pay is $23.18 per hour.

The Press Operator monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Major Functions And Scope

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment within control plans.
• Identifies minor mechanical problems and performs adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning of equipment as needed for color changes.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education And Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
