Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. in Gettysburg, PA is seeking a Press Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30pm–1:00am) at the Lincolnway Location.

The position offers an hourly rate of $23.18 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 0–1 year of manufacturing experience. Responsibilities include monitoring and cleaning press equipment, identifying minor mechanical issues, performing adjustments, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

This is a 2nd shift position working Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 1:00am at the Lincolnway Location. The hourly rate of pay is $23.18 per hour.

The Press Operator monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Major Functions and Scope:

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment within control plans.
• Identifies minor mechanical problems and performs adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning of equipment as needed for color changes.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.

Competencies:

• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
