Job summary

Dal-Tile, the leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, is seeking a Press Operator to monitor press equipment and inspect tiles while performing minor adjustments to ensure smooth production.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and about 1 year of manufacturing experience. You will work in a fast-paced facility, follow SOPs, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-year manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor press equipment and perform minor adjustments.
• Inspect tile for quality defects during production.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Recruiting Profile

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Press Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Press Operator, we need someone to monitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile.

Primary Objective

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Major Function and Scope

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-year Previous Manufacturing/production Experience Preferred.

• Good oral and written communications skills.

• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
