Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC, a leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, invites you to join our Lincolnway location as a 2nd shift Press Operator. The role begins Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–1:00am, with an hourly rate of $23.18.

Responsibilities include monitoring press equipment, performing minor adjustments, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year manufacturing/production experience preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills, ability to document and report clearly.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure efficient operation of press equipment per control plans.
• Identify minor mechanical issues and perform adjustments as needed.
• Conduct routine cleaning of equipment for color changes.
• Monitor processes and report problems to supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and organized.

This is a 2nd shift position working Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 1:00am at the Lincolnway Location. The hourly rate of pay is $23.18 per hour.

The Press Operator monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Major Functions And Scope

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment within control plans.
• Identifies minor mechanical problems and performs adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning of equipment as needed for color changes.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education And Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
