Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is hiring a Press Operator to monitor press equipment, adjust settings, and inspect tile quality. The role supports a busy manufacturing team with a focus on safety and process adherence.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 1 year of manufacturing experience, with opportunities for growth and internal mobility within Mohawk Industries.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Press Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Press Operator, we need someone to monitor and perform minor adjustments on press equipment and inspect tile.

Primary Objective

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Major Function and Scope

• Monitors efficient operation of press equipment.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-year Previous Manufacturing/production Experience Preferred.

• Good oral and written communications skills.

• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
