Hydraulic Hose Mechanical Assembler Job Summary - FRIST SHIFT, SECOND SHIFT, WEEKEND WORK

The Hydraulic Hose Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, routing, installing, and connecting hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related mechanical components during the manufacturing and assembly of heavy equipment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with hand and power tools in a production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and install hydraulic hoses and fittings on heavy equipment during the manufacturing process.
• Route hydraulic hoses according to assembly drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions.
• Connect hoses to hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, manifolds, motors, and other components.
• Measure, cut, and prepare hydraulic hose as required.
• Install and properly tighten hydraulic fittings, adapters, clamps, brackets, and connectors.
• Identify hydraulic hose sizes, fitting types, and connection points.
• Use hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, torque wrenches, drills, cutters, and other assembly equipment.
• Secure hoses to prevent rubbing, pinching, excessive movement, or interference with moving components.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with hydraulic hoses, mechanical assembly, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial equipment, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, valves, and cylinders preferred.
• Ability to read basic assembly drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Ability to identify and properly install various hose and fitting configurations.

Physical Requirements
