Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a candidate for a 2nd shift position to assemble hydraulic hose JIC fittings and related components. You will follow safety regulations, read blueprints, and communicate with team members to ensure correct lengths and fit.

Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus, but not required. The role requires basic mechanical skills and the ability to use calipers and hand tools. Work is performed on-site with personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills and hydraulic experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some mechanical and hydraulic background is preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Assemble hydraulic hose JIC fittings.
• Pull hydraulic hose to recommended length, cut and crimp ends.
• Verify hose measurements with calipers.
• Roll, bundle, and label hydraulic hose for shelving.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine layouts and operations.
• Align, fit, assemble, and connect system components using hand and power tools.
