Job summary

FORCE America Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician in Charlotte, NC. The role involves assembling, disassembling, and repairing hydraulic product lines with basic knowledge of production procedures and standard hand/power tools.

You will work in a team, aim for quality, and support timely customer orders. The position emphasizes self-direction, collaboration, and adherence to safety practices in a shop environment with potential noise and physical demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED; Mechanical aptitude; Familiarity with hand and power tools; Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations; Detail oriented to ensure quality.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience; Associates Degree in Fluid Power, Mechatronics, or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fundamental components per work instructions using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Assemble entry-level products to meet standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specs.
• Communicate with appropriate parties regarding expedited orders, quality issues, inventory, etc.
• Participate in implementing process improvements.
• Maintain and follow safety practices and procedures.
• Keep an orderly work environment and accurate ERP records.
• Work as part of a team to achieve goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
