Job summary

FORCE America is seeking an Assembly Technician in Salt Lake City to assemble and test hydraulic components such as valves, pumps, motors, and PTOs, following precise work instructions.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, tool familiarity, and reliability to meet customer specifications. You will support process improvements and maintain ERP records while working a regular 8:00am–4:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.
• Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fundamental components in accordance with the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Tests all assembled systems for standard expectations of quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.
• Maintains system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
• Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
• Maintain safe and orderly work area.
• Participate in the implementation of process improvements.
• Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.
• Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
