Job summary

FORCE America Inc. in Alexandria, MN, US is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble, disassemble and repair specific product lines. The role requires basic product knowledge, understanding of production procedures, and the ability to use common hand and power tools.

You will work with a team to meet quality, efficiency, and customer specifications. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations.
• Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
• Associates Degree in Fluid Power, Mechatronics, or related field strongly preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fundamental components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Assemble entry-level products to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.
• Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.
• Participate in the implementation of process improvements.
• Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.
• Maintain an orderly work environment.
• Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
• Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
