Price Benowitz, LLP in Greenbelt, MD seeks a dedicated Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to support attorneys with case management, client communications, and document handling in a fast-paced environment.

This hybrid role requires 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, with responsibilities spanning filing, medical records review, legal research, scheduling, and trial preparation to ensure timely, accurate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in workers’ compensation or personal injury law.
• Strong organizational, time-management, multitasking, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with legal research databases, case management software, and MS Office.
• Professional demeanor, strong ethics, and ability to maintain confidentiality; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of workers’ compensation cases with deadlines.
• Prepare, file, and maintain legal documents and petitions.
• Coordinate client communications and update on case progress.
• Organize and review medical records and related documents.
• Conduct legal research on Maryland workers’ compensation statutes.
• Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings with opposing counsel, medical providers, and clients.
• Assist in trial preparation with binders, exhibits, and other materials.
