Job summary

Price Benowitz LLP in Washington, DC seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support the Personal Injury Practice Group on cases from start to finish. The role is hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm).

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience, DC filings knowledge, and strong research and drafting skills. Proficiency with MS Office and client coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience with drafting substantive documents.
• Experience with DC litigation matters and familiarity with DC procedures and filings.
• Virginia litigation experience is a plus; willingness to learn VA procedures.
• Strong research, drafting, and caseload management skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury caseload from start to finish.
• Maintain and organize client files and summarize documents.
• Draft letters of representation and various legal documents.
• Utilize state and federal court systems for electronic filings.
• Maintain constant client contact via phone and email.
• Coordinate with opposing counsel, court clerks, and insurers.
• Assist with trial prep including jury instructions and deposition lists.
• Update calendars for hearings, depositions, and scheduling orders.
• Arrange service of process with sheriffs or private servers.
