Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking an experienced Workday Development Engineer / Workday Benefits Developer to join the People Technology team and support large-scale HR transformation initiatives and ongoing Workday BAU operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Benefits, business process and security configuration, advanced reporting, and integrations across a global HR environment.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Workday experience in a global HR transformation program or HR Operations/Shared Services.
• Expert-level Workday HCM configuration (Business Process & Security).
• Advanced Workday Report Writer experience for complex reports and dashboards.
• Strong experience with Workday Benefits, analysis, configuration, enhancements, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workday incident and change requests across transformation initiatives and BAU operations, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Perform deep-level analysis for Workday Benefits, HCM, reporting, dashboards, and system enhancements.
• Provide end-to-end consulting for requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Design, configure, and implement Workday system enhancements with alignment to HR processes and security standards.
• Develop and support Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, PECI, PICOF, and related capabilities.
• Create and support test scripts, troubleshoot complex issues, document solutions, and drive continuous Workday improvements.
