Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in Mobile, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to lead design efforts, mentor engineers, and deliver municipal water/wastewater projects with a flexible hybrid work culture.

You will work with project managers and clients to develop solutions, manage scope and schedules, and help grow Arcadis' water practice through technical excellence and client relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in water/wastewater design and leading design projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural or related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project delivery within the municipal Water/Wastewater market in the Gulf region.
• Provide leadership to design teams and supervise engineers and designers.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, permits, RFIs, and ensure quality and safety standards.
