Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Electrical Engineer with a strong water-wastewater background to join the Resilience Water team. This hybrid role can be based in Ohio locations or Detroit, MI, and focuses on electrical power distribution, controls, lighting, and communications for water facilities.

The role involves design, coordination, and construction support, with opportunities to develop project management skills and manage budgets and schedules on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design and coordination tasks focusing on power distribution, lighting, communications, and control systems
• Utilize CAD software (Autodesk and Bentley) for electrical design and documentation
• Establish design criteria and perform calculations
• Develop electrical design documents including one-line diagrams and schematics
• Provide engineering services during construction and review submittals and RFIs
• Conduct field inspections to ensure safety compliance
• Perform electrical system analysis using ETAP, SKM and related tools
• Travel as required to meet project needs
