Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Design) to join our Resilience Water Team in Southern California. The role involves managing design and construction of water and wastewater systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project delivery.

Ideal candidates have extensive municipal water experience, strong technical writing, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage tasks and projects for the design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems, pump/lift stations, and/or treatment plants.
• Assist with development of design and construction documents, such as reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
• Provide support in the construction administration of projects, ensuring processes are managed efficiently and align with guidelines.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and communicate effectively to achieve project objectives.
• Occasionally travel locally for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, or oversight of construction activities.
