Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Resilience Water team in a hybrid role based in Ohio offices or Detroit, MI. You will design electrical systems for municipal water and wastewater facilities, delivering safe, reliable infrastructure and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
• EIT certification or PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for municipal water and wastewater facilities, including power distribution, MCCs, VFDs, lighting, instrumentation, communications, and control systems.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, specifications, plans, and calculations with industry-standard design software.
• Perform power system analyses and technical studies for safe, reliable operations.
• Collaborate with project managers, process/mechanical engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Support construction activities via submittals, RFIs, field investigations, and commissioning support.
• Engage in client interactions and proposals to identify innovative infrastructure solutions.
