Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil, environmental, or biosystems engineering or related science is required.
• Advanced degree in engineering or science is preferred.
• Internship or work experience in environmental consulting is advantageous.
• Field work and overnight travel are part of the role.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling.
• Design and analyze watershed, stormwater, and stream restoration projects.
• Model surface water quality and perform data analysis.
• Design green infrastructure and low-impact development measures.
• Assist with floodplain modeling and permitting efforts.
• Support erosion and sediment control design.
• Ensure compliance with Clean Water Act and NPDES requirements.
• Contribute to civil/infrastructure design and site layout.
• Perform site visits and compile technical reports and drawings.
