Job summary

Salt River Project provides field support for telecommunication networks and systems including LANs, WANs, FANs, radio, and fiber optics across Arizona. You will install, program, and maintain telecom technologies while collaborating with engineers and other teams to ensure reliable, secure operations.

The role requires completion of an appropriate apprenticeship or equivalent, with progressive experience levels. Hybrid workplace with strong benefits and safety emphasis is offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Four-year apprenticeship or equivalent training for higher tech levels.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, and maintains telecom technologies independently.
• Supports network changes and outages with leadership as needed.
• Mentors technicians and collaborates with engineering staff.
• Ensures documentation and safety standards are followed.
