Job summary

Orbitel Communications, LLC seeks an Access Network Engineer to design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, broadband access, and security systems. You will help propel growth with scalable, reliable networks and strong documentation.

The role offers hybrid in-office work in Maricopa, AZ, with progression through levels I–III based on qualifications, experience, and certifications. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Industry networking certifications such as CCNP or JNCIA preferred.
• Experience in service provider or enterprise networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, OLTs, ONTs, wireless systems, firewalls, and security appliances.
• Support broadband access technologies (CMTS, GPON, DOCSIS, Ethernet, RF, and IP networking).
• Perform testing, troubleshoot performance issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and change records.
• Provide Tier III support to NOC personnel and field technicians.
• Lead projects, capacity planning, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
